Quinnipiac Poll: Connecticut Kerry 45% Bush 38%

A new Quinnipiac Poll of Connecticut gives Kerry a 7-point 45-38 lead with Bush's approval rating at 42%. This compares to a 50-32 point Kerry lead in June. Nader attracts 6% which is down from 9% in June.

One reason Bush may be doing better according to the pollster is the popularity of the new Gov. of Connecticut, Judi Rell who has the highest approval rating ever for a governor in Quinnipiac history--73-4 percent positive.

But don't fret, Connecticut will be solidly blue in November.

Paul newman doesn't..he donated 25,000 to moveon.org.....not sure who the rethugs in connecticut are...they voted the dimwit rowland in who then gave ct a income tax so rowland could have more money and gave the rest to enron and executives of pratt whitney

2. The income tax

came during Lowell Weicker's term as Gov. Rowland ran with the promise of elminating the income tax (right). I sure hope there aren't that many stupid people in my State or I may just have to move.
