Kerry has opened up on the offensive side of the defense now.
The latest moveon ad actually mentioned the flight physical.
Is there some way for surrogates to start demanding Bush release the records dealing with this aspect of his guard duty?
Is it too early?
Is it inappropriate?
I know what most here feel, but, strategically speaking, what is best for the campaign?
Recall that Bush had made several excuses for not taking it, the first being that his personal physician wasn't available to give it to him, but this has been debunked.
The second was that, since he'd decided to go to Alabama, he wouldn't be flying, therefore, no physical was necessary.
There's a third that's been cited, but I can't remember/find it.
Anybody know what it was?
I started the following thread, in search of a previous thread, which was much better written/organized, but nobody came up with it.

Various pundits have said that the entire Bush campaign has been designed to tear Kerry apart, noting that Bush has nothing at all positive to run upon. Craig Henry, of the Hotline, I think, said that the challenger is the one doing the attacking, and is mystified at his, so far, mostly passive role.
So, knowing that the Bush campaign is based almost entirely on personal attacks, why not respond in kind?
We all know that character is an issue, and that the current occupant campaigned last time on a promise to restore honor and integrity to the WH. How ironic is that?
