Sam Nunn is a homophobic asshole who played a large role in DADT. If he is Obama's VP many GLBT people like myself may think twice about Obama.

2. I wouldn't worry about it

Nunn is way too old to be running for VP. He's 69 now and will be 70 in September. There are plenty of people who are slightly older the Obama that would make great running mates.

very true. But I don't think (in fact I am postive on this) that Obama would be so hateful as to have Sam Nunn on this ticket. Obama has to know that Sam's views on homosexuality do not jive at all with his own. I would bet that Obama has probably learned from his previous misstep in connecting with the gay community. Sam Nunn will not be VP.
