What will be the fate of these two low-level Obama staffers?

(that of course is David Axelrod, Obama's chief strategist)

My prediction is Axelrod will be well-rewarded next January, probably as Chief of Staff. At the very least an ambassadorship.

And then there's the guy who writes the songs words that make the whole world sing, Jon Favreau. No silly, not the director of Iron Man...this Jon Favreau, Obama's speech writer:

I'm thinking White House Press Secretary for this guy.

What's your prediction?

1. I'm thinking Sam Seaborn; Linda Douglass will be WH press Secretary
Just because you can write, doesnt mean you can speak.

11. Good point!
Favreau would be better-suited to continue as Obama's speech writer.

Wonder if there's been a major candidate speech writer so young before?

2. Let's win the election first, okay?
These types of 'egg counting prior to hatching' threads get me nervous...

15. Daschle? He was not an effective Minority Leader.
Obama's COS will have to be a superb manager/executive. Daschle has never impressed me in that way.

18. I disagree. Rachel is a journalist.
And I doubt that she would take a partisan-type job.

14. David Axelrod as Chief of Staff would be perfect. I think he and Obama are completely in sync
as far as the spirit with which they've chosen to conduct the campaign and the graciousness
of style.

Axelrod would be terrific. So would David Plouffe.

19. Favreau
will probably remain a speech writer and should, he is genius at what he does.

Press secretary is a pretty crappy job.
