In my red state today...
...we held our registration drive and dispatched teams throughout the city to get new voters registered. By the end of the summer, the goal is to have 50,000 new registered voters on the rolls and to the polls (or vote early).

Oh, and this is just Part I of Phase I. I can't wait until the college tour in September.

That is the genius of the Obama campaign.

YES WE CAN!

2. Louisiana.
The network is growing, and there is a serious chance to flip this state with some hard work.

3. I heard they registered 30,000 new voters in Georgia
in the last few weeks.

The lines at the polls are going to be long unless people vote early.

Wish more states had that.

6. I think I read here at DU that there are 600,000
unregistered black citizens in Georgia.

Don't know how they know that without registering them.

16. How Close Are You to the New Hampshire Line?
NH is leaning slightly Republican in a lot of polls. It should be one of the most doable states to nail down.

11. Louisiana was almost a swing state in 2000
with a victory margin for Republicans of 6.52%. It was not close for Kerry though, but it may be competetive for Obama

13. Louisiana is going to be tough
but it's doable. At the very worst, if it stays close, McCain is going to have to dump resources into the state to try to win it thereby bleeding him dry to compete in other states.
