The NY Times editorial board wrote about how wonderful his UN speech was after it happened.

In the Washington Post, columnist Richard Cohen wrote that "Only a fool — or possibly a Frenchman" could doubt that Iraq has WMD after hearing that UN speech.

A Colin Powell endorsement could help us with the center-left pundits.

It's hard to come up with another explanation for his jaw-dropping behavior last week before the House International Relations Committee. There he sat, recounting for the umpety-umpth time why, back in February 2003, he believed the pessimistic estimates about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.
