Q poll in PA; Good news for Kerry about military families
This is HUGE! Kerry is definately stiking a chord with the people who have their lives or a family members life on the line due to Bush's war of lies.

http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x12945.xml

Military veterans or voters with a household member who is a veteran or currently in active duty or reserve service support Kerry 46 – 42 percent, with 6 percent for Nader.

These voters from military families say 54 – 41 percent that the war is wrong...

In what may prove to be damaging news for the President, the anti-war attitude among voters from military households in Pennsylvania is greater than the attitude among all voters. Kerry hold the same slim lead among these voters that he has among the electorate in general,” Richards added.

2. I have always argued
That military families (parents, siblings and girlfriends) will be more pro-Kerry than the military people themselves. Within the militay, I think the biggest pro-Kerry groups will be among the Reserves and National Guardsmren (the citizen soldiers), while the professional standing military forces will be pro-Bush, but perhaps not by as much as last time.

3. The military themselves cannot say what they are truly thinking
or how they will vote. I think Kerry will get a large portion of their vote but we won't hear about it before hand.

6. my army captain friend in Iraq has been pro Kerry for awhile
even when it was thought he wouldn't have a chance of winning the primary. He loathes Bush and is anxious as hell to see the Michael Moore movie..He is a pretty young captain at 27 years and isn't COMPLETELY anti-war, he just doesn't like Bush...

4. Hmm, with that many Nader votes and undecideds...
Kerry should win this voter bloc by a large margin. 6% undecided and 6% Nader, I think it's safe to say that at least half those votes will end up going to Kerry.

5. This reinforces the anecdotal evidence
such as the popularity of F911 in areas near military bases, where the conventional wisdom falsely predicted it would flop.
