I'd like to thank Joe Biden for bringing so much foreign relations experience to the table and showing America that Democrats know about national security. You are a true elder statesman.

Thank you Hillary Clinton for your historic run and giving a voice to so many who have felt silenced for so long. You have proved on a world stage that women are just as strong and intelligent as men.

I'd like to thank Chris Dodd for his unrelenting focus on preserving the Constitution of the United States. Your voice in these matters is unparalleled.

Thank you John Edwards for your steadfast support for the poor and downtrodden. You were the one who brought issues from healthcare to the economy to the table and kept them there.

Thanks Mike Gravel for your blunt commentary. You are sometimes funny and sometimes angry but always honest.

Dennis Kucinich, thank you for being the front man for progressives everywhere. Without you our views and opinions would never be heard. May your pocket Constitution never wear thin.

And thanks to Bill Richardson for sharing your experience in so many areas and your level headed grace under pressure. People like yourself are the gem of democracy.

Lastly, thank you Barack Obama for, yes, giving us all hope for a better tomorrow. You have not only won the right to carry the Democratic banner into the general election, you have taken on a duty to carry the best messages from each of our candidates into the presidency. I know you are the candidate who can do it.

So thank you all for bringing us the best of what it means to be a Democrat and an American. You have done us all proud.
