New Michigan Poll numbers... Kerry increases lead....46% to 42%
These latest numbers come from Strategic Vision out of Atlanta. According to the poll, right now 46 percent of voters support the Kerry-Edwards ticket. 42 percent would vote for Bush-Cheney. Two percent support Ralph Nader. Ten percent remain undecided.

The margin of error is plus or minus three percent.

In a similar poll last month by the same company, Kerry still held the lead, but Bush 44 percent and Nader had 1 percent.

It looks as though the push by repugs to get Nader on the ticket is backfiring....

1. Strategic Vision is the only one showing it close in Michigan
Other polls show Michigan is solid blue.

4.  That explains it.....
I got this information from Grand Rapids TV 8.... They are a very conserative news station...they of course would only report on the polls showing it as close as possible.

I have to say...If even a repug polling service has Kerry winning...I think its a done deal...:-)

2. Is Strategic Vision a Republican firm?
I think I remember reading that on politicalwire.com but that was a while ago and I can't find it now.

5. thank you for saying the 'other polls' showed solid blue because
I'm frankly geting an ulcer with various polls lately. I just can't do backflips over states that were ours in 2000 who have these 3-4% leads for Kerry. We absolutely, positively, have to retake them or we are dead. We then have to add something like Ohio or Missouri and the numbers in those polls don't exactly make me do blackflips. I pay little attention to Florida because if Jeb has to fix every machine and/or kill every resident except himself and his wife, the state will NEVER be allowed to be counted in the Kerry column.

electoral-vote.com
has downgraded Mi from "Weak Kerry" to "Barely Kerry". Don't know
what polls they are looking at.

7. You know, I do the same thing
There is another post on this board about how Florida police are intimidating elderly black voters in Florida already.

I expect Jeb is really worried right now though. All those people without housing and electricity in Punta Gorda usually vote Republican.

I don't think it's fair but I expect they will blame the Bush brothers for their troubles. If so, then there would be some payback for the evil the Bush family has done.
