I was going through the archives and noticed these appreciation threads. I thought I'd start one. I'd like to say to kick off this thread that I admire her courage in so wholeheartedly endorsing Senator Obama this morning, I admire her tenacity in running the strongest runner-up campaign for a nomination ever, and admire her 40 years working for progressive causes.

It's very nice indeed to be united once again as a party.

7. Well, thank you Hillary....

For making it easier for the next woman to run for president and win. For making a great concession speech. For your service to your country and your party.

I have had major differences with Hillary on policy and have deplored many of the tactics of her campaign. I do think that: 1) she got some bad advice from her so-called experts like Penn, and 2) she made some mistakes, some real big mistakes, and 3) Bill Clinton made some mistakes. We all are human. We all make mistakes.

As for the more destructive of her mistakes, who of us can honestly say we might not make similar mistakes if we were in her position and really wanted to win? I'm willing to accept them as human mistakes and failings, something we all do in the human condition. Not that I accept that they were the right thing to do.

I'm ready to move on. Hillary has apparently turned the page. So I think should everyone else.

There no longer is any reason to knock Hillary. I hope that all Obama supporters realize this and can demostrate the same humility that Hillary showed today.

We really are all in this together. A McCain presidency is unthinkable!

She will work her heart out for Obama. By the end of this campaign, she will have won the hearts of all America. Obama supporters will see her strengths and greatness and will love her as much as her supporters do.
