This was not just a concession; it was a carefully crafted pitch to throw her support, and that of her supporters, to him. It was a campaign speech for him. People spent a lot of time writing it, and she spent time working on it. It was timed for broad exposure. It was delivered in person to large numbers of her strongest supporters.

It was as good as it could have been. In a way it launches the GE campaign.


Now I want to see that image I described a couple of weeks ago, taken from the Magnificent Seven, Of Obama striding down the middle of the road with Hillary, John, Bill, Joe, Dennis, and Chris - ok, make it eight and let Mike in too - spread across the street a step back, with a scroll like in the opening of Star Wars saying stuff like Yes We Can, and This is Our Moment...

1. Yes, it was a great speech, but she could have give a speech with a different tone on Tuesday night

that would have set this one up. That would have been nice. There is no denying that Hillary Clinton gave a great speech today, though.

2. Yeah it was the tone of the speech Tuesday

that was so bad, that she intended to go on and egging her supporters to continue too. Along with McAwful introducing her as the next President, Tuesday night was just really bad.

Today's speech was good I just wish Tuesday's had been half as nice.
