Hillary Clinton for Health Care Czar!
She'd be wasted and bored as VP or SCOTUS.

Americans need affordable, quality healthcare.

That is all.

2. Not unless she could prove she can compromise. That she
wasn't willing to do the last time around.

7. Baloney! Nothing ever got done because she was unwilling to
compromise. Something would have been better than nothing if she had had Americans' best interests at heart. It didn't turn out that way.

14. Compromise your rights away?
Don't give up on the audacity of high hopes.
This is the time to lay down the markers.
No half way to start the game or there will be no progress at all.

You don't want a conversation, so you won't get one from me. Bye.

22. A conversation?
That would imply considering alternatives and compromise.

3. I agree. In that capacity, we will see Hillary at her best and at her strongest.
In the way that Al Gore really began to shine when he was able to focus on the environment. Its obvious that Hillary is incredibly sincere about health care.

Maybe she can be flown to work by an aviatrix?

6. Didn't think about that. Most actresses now use the term "actor"

But Czarina fits Senator Clinton to a T

9. Yes, its just a funny aspect of language
Gender-specific terms for professions are fading from usage, and I would expect that female Czars are still Czars in our modern American political lexicon.

12. I agree, but lets use a better title
Make a New cabinet Position of Secretary of Health Care.

I'm not all that keen on naming positions after leaders of failed totalitarian regimes.

17. Completely agree with your point. We don't want to use Bush
terms. And all of his czars seem to be hired to work for the opposite of what the position was for...mine safety czar, intelligence czar, etc.

13. I agree, that would be the appropriate role for her!
In Obama's speech on Tuesday, he clearly said she would play a KEY role in his healthcare strategy so he, too, sees how well she would in promoting his healthcare plan.

15. That's why I want her as Sen Majority Leader
We need her there to help lead the process in writing a bill and getting it through Congress. It's going to take a LOT of arm twisting to get it through.

19. If the Edwardses thought she had the best healthcare platform
out of all the Dem candidates, then I'm willing to trust their expertise on this particular subject. This topic is why Elizabeth withheld her endorsement from everyone but her own husband, but she gave a glowing review of Hillary's plan.

who was rejected by three major health carriers for individual health coverage because of a "pre-existing condition", I heartily applaud that move.
