and I hope his God can give him the strength and knowledge to see the issue of GLBT equality with non-judgemental eyes. He has a way to go. I think he will succeed.

12. We all have to work on/with him to get better on GLBT issues as well....
But your support for him, even though he's to some degree a work-in-progress is MUCH appreciated.

13. Here.
And if it is any sign of things to come, Clinton mentioned the Gay community twice in her speech and CNN has been talking about Gay rights today as well.

16. Gay Household for Obama!
We're gay, white, very rural and luh us some Obama! We had hopes our home-stater Edwards could go the distance, but we're pleased with the turnout. We're hoping that AG Edwards can do some kickass cleanup of all the rot and corruption the pigs have inserted into the government over the last 30 years. That's a BA job and will take all of our help, investigation and pressure on Congress to FOLLOWfreakinTHROUGH.

As for us, lordy, we want to be married, but we want our Constitution and government back first. Without those ten fundamental rights being restored, the right to marry won't mean a whole lot. But now there's hope for all of it. I have great faith in the generations who followed us boomers. They CAN be the next Greatest Generation(s).

Someone break out a nice wine (a cold Bud would do!). We can smell victory now. It will taste very sweet when we've earned it by November.

((Group hugs))
Rev 'n' Rob

I wish Obama , his family and his hardcore activist supporters/campaigners the best of luck. For now I will give him the benefit of the doubt despite any reservations I might have. It's not like I was this big Hillary fan either. I will be rooting for him and promoting him whenever I engage people in conversation wherever I go.
