She's knockin' it outta the park. She is putting it all out there and it is all about electing Obama now.

Thank you, Senator Clinton.

Bravo!

It must be hard for her.

5. As an Obama supporter from way back I have to agree!
She's doing such a great job. She's giving a very polished speech, and mentioning ALL the major points the two Senators have in common.

Well done, Hillary.

12. I don't see how you're reading that into her speech
She clearly wants to stay in a position to fight for her causes, not the Constitution. When universal health care is achieved it won't be because of a Supreme Court Justice, it will be because of politicians like Ted Kennedy.

Channel her into Healthcare, because if she focuses her drive on that, we're going to benefit.

19. every bad thing
is not redeemed in one good speech.

This was the least Hillary could do, and I'm very glad she did it...otherwise we would have had to put up with more distracting spectacle.

Somehow she came to her senses, too late IMO, but now it's thankfully over.

24. What the hell does hate have anything to do with it?
There is a vast difference between hate and completely being disgusted with they way people who call themselves democrats who want this to be a better country yet they don't display this ideology in all of the comments made here about Hillary and other candidates who were also dems.

There is , or at least was at one time people who thought before opening their mouths.

That's the problem I have, that is in no way defined as hate.

You will never understand the difference. It is simple minded to narrow any feeling one might have then calling it hate.

28. Hardly, What I am expressing is the truth
Of exactly what has been going on, on this forum, on radio shows who call themselves progressive and many of their callers.

What many of the obama supporters expressed was their hate , I am pointing this out.

Everytime a Hillary supporter came on this forum they were attacked, if anyone expressed what they did not like about Obama or even questioned his policy or their doubts, there were endless Obama supporters who resorted to name calling of the worst kind and other countless attacks.

Tell me I'm wrong rather than playing as if you don't know what I refer to here. Instead you want to play coy as if you don't know when you were one of them.

30. Im not going to get into a pissing match with you.
Youre sitting here telling me that I am a hater when I absolutely was/am not.

Furthermore, anyone who can step back and look objectively at this primary season realizes that hateful attacks were launched by supporters from BOTH sides. Dont talk down at me from your high-horse while pretending that all Hillary supporters have been angels.

Its seems your own personal anger is preventing you from seeing things as they actually are. Your opinion does not equal "truth".

31.  Go look at your reply #22
The thing you can't handle is that I at least do see things as they really are.

I never said all Hillary supporters were angels , and since you are here dictating to me what to do and what not to do , don't judge me.

You came along and started this, I was responding to the OP not you. You came along in the defense of someone else or you just can't stay out of things and you talk about opinions.

32. "same here" is hate speech now?
No wonder we cant have a conversation.

I dont forgive her for everything she's done (such as the IWR), but that IN NO WAY means I hate her.

Oh, and NEWSFLASH: You posted on a public internet message board. If you're going to get pissy when someone replies, you should probably stop posting. Hostile posts (and OPs) such as the ones you've become famous for making usually *do* get responses. Imagine that.

Good day.

33.  So I am famous ?
For hostile posts. Well imagine that.

Anything is considered hostile here if it's an opinion or being honest.

I don't come here to play games and simply because it is public internet does not invite the sort of replies I got for certain people here.

I don't come here attacking people even when I get attacked and I don't need to justify anything to you.

You are the person who considerer's a response that does not fit your opinion "hate". That's where the communication break down begins.

Remember one thing, you are the one who got pissy to begin with on this thread. I voiced my opinion and you did not like it and you took the attitude to come here and try to judge me.

We can't have a conversation because you come off in judgmental attack mode.

I have asked you a few questions such as when did I say all Hillary supporters were angels and you come back with the same sort of remarks.

27. I have this to say about that
I got behind Obama late in the game. But it may not have happened even then if I hadn't stopped visiting DU. The biggest barrier for supporting Obama for quite a few people was the nastiness coming from his supporters. Though some would claim the Hillary supporters were just as bad---they weren't. Particularly ridiculous were people saying they thought she would support McCain. Such ignorance of party politics, political parties in general, and ignorance about Hillary Clinton was just too much to bear. Anyway, I took my vacation from DU and was able to see Obama on his own merits without the interference of his hate-filled, stupid supporters---I'm just talking about those for whom the shoe fits. I give a toast to those Obama supporters who urged unity as it became apparent Obama was most likely going to be the nominee and all of his supporters who chastised other Obama supporters who crossed the line in their comments about Hillary.

Anyway, I say what matters in the end is keeping McCain out of the White House.
