'Everyone's going to be monitoring every syllable.'

'Everyone's going to be monitoring every syllable.' --MSNBC's GOP foot-soldier (and Coup 2000 palliator) Timmy Russert, speculating whether Hillary Clinton will surrender hard enough. Coup 2008 is well underway, and they've already found their scapegoat. By LRP 07 Jun 2008

'Can she pull off an Al Gore style concession speech? ...She can't leave any 'Clintonian wiggle room.' ' --Jonathan Alter, Senior Newsweek editor/MSNBC contributor hoping, praying for the complete surrender of Hillary Clinton. (Anything less, you see, diminishes candidate Obama, empowers the GOP and explains the reason for the John McCain 'victory' in the fall!)

The GOP has a double coup underway for 2008. One, the Republicans are stealing the 'election' from Barack Obama via electronic 'voting' and all the other anti-Democratic tactics Bush has been cultivating for eight years.

Two, Reichwing media trolls are advancing the notion that Hillary Clinton is responsible for any defeat of Barack Obama. The assertion is as fallacious as it is insane. While John McCain gets the media free ride of his life, Hillary Clinton's laughter, pantsuit fabric, and intonation has been scrutinized by media pundits on every end of the political spectrum.

The corporate-owned media is trying to stave off any future Hillary Clinton presidential runs by ocondemning her for the outcome of an election that has yet to transpire! They are conditioning citizens to a double defeat (in the era of Bush's 100-years-Iraq and soon-to-be Iran war and 150-dollar per barrel oil).

Notice that the Bush regime is - under the media radar and cover- growing his police state geometrically, daily, to stave off future (food and gas?) riots.

Coup 2008 is well underway, and they've already found their scapegoat.

MSNBC, why don't you cover - any - if not all - of the following stories?

1. If Obama wins though, she will have tons of political capital to spend.
After all, she would be the one who "vetted" President Obama and made him immune to GOP attacks.

3. Even after Hillary is gone (assuming she isn't the VP choice)...
Edited on Sat Jun-07-08 12:40 PM by ryanmuegge
It'll be all Clintons all of the time. Obama won't be talked about at all. It'll be the Clinton soap opera, Hillary's pantsuits and hairstyles, Bill's golf clubs, what he ordered at McDonald's that day, the library contributers.

And, of course, they'll never cover any of the stories mentioned in that article. The media doesn't do substance, they do tone of voice and hairstyles.

By the way, this is no fault of the Clintons. It's the media's obsession with the Clintons and turning their lives into a soap opera.

4. Yup, the 'election' is the distraction. I never thought I'd see the day.
It used to be Britney - they found a better cover of distraction.
