Bob Graham for VP?

What do you guys think?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Graham

Former Governor of FL, Chairman Senate Intelligence Committee, Against the war from the start.

I wish Kerry had chosen him as his running mate. He's 71 now AFAIK.

1. Good guy, too old. We don't need a reverse-McCain ticket.

3. I'd vote for him, though I agree that he is getting a little long in the tooth...
But he's intelligent, has the right ideas, and he sure knows a lot, which would be invaluable. The man takes notes...;)

4. I like him...he's less than a year older than McCain, so it would be hard
for the Repubs to question his age. Very popular in Florida, may put my state in play. Nationally known, voted against the IWR, and has experience (especially in foreign policy). He does not take away a sitting Senator. All in all, a very good match, I think.

5. NOOOOOO! He's a stereotype Dem, with a small voice, small stature....
What the Dems need: a gun totin', boot-wearin', voice boomin' man (if it doesn't choose Hillary).

No more stereotype Dems, please! There is a national security issue in this race!

um, much younger than now.

Another non-sequitor - he keeps a journal of everything he's doing, down to 15 minute intervals. His whole life.

10. He might really put Florida into Obama's camp -- I like Boxer, who would help there too, I think.
I have heard it criticized that Graham's personal diary, as of 2004 at least, posed a target of ridicule, that would be fodder for the proverbial 'late night comedians'.

11. great choice for the short list -- he's keen to 9/11 truth, and would pursue the Bush criminals
(i think) instead of seeing a replay of post Iran-Contra dem admins.

12. Great guy, but won't help us win FL.
Nothing much will - and that's the only reason I'd see to add him.

13. As It Stands, Obama Will Lose Florida. Period.
If Graham can swing Florida, he's should be a top contender. Florida would pretty much put the election away for Obama. I don't know Graham's personal qualities, but he has the ideal background.

14. Sometimes I fall asleep watching Conspiracy Videos
He was having breakfast with the Pakistani Intelligence Chief that sent thousands of dollars to the 9-11 perpetrators on the morning of 9-11.

I'll be fucked if I know what that means.

I wonder if I injured my mind watching those vids.

I hope I don't end up voting stupid.

And was close to being chose by Gore, but not really by Kerry. Although, he was going to play a prominent role in Kerry's administration (and I was going to have a really cool job, but I'm not bitter). That being said, I don't think he's going to be on Obama's short list.
