Today is Unity Day- Obama and Clinton together, ending the family feud.
We, here at DU, should do the same thing today. Let's cut the BS. Let's stop the attacking and let's unite.

Hillary Clinton fought like a champ for the nomination, and so did Obama. Regardless of some of the tactics used during the campaign season- after all, this is politics, not ping pong- we need to recognize the GREATNESS and SKILL in both Clinton and Obama, and how fortunate we were in having them, along with a wonderful group of candidates, running for the Democratic nomination. This is OUR year, the year of America- we will take back the WH and start cleaning up the mess Republicans have left.

To all Hillary supporters here at DU: Congratulations. You stood up with Hillary till the end, and she deserved it. I am sure Obama will make you proud and win your support.

To all fellow Obama supporters: Congratulations- we did it! Nobody gave us a shot a year ago, but we stood up for change. We saw the potential in Obama and decided to go for broke. It has paid off, and now the next battle starts- ON TO THE WHITE HOUSE!

So, let's rally together: GOBAMA! GOHILLARY! GODEMS! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

4. Trust in Obama.
He is being most respectful of Hillary and we owe him, and her, the support he wants. Take a page from the new generation of politics and welcome aboard Hillary fans. We need you.

5. That will be easy
All that is required is for people to stop posting commentary and videos promoting Hillary Clinton. Her role now, just like us, is to support the ticket to win in November.

There are relatively few who are causing the problem here. I already have 125 of the twits on ignore, so the forum is essentially free of the Clinton BS for me.

Skinner, how about you take my ignore list and put those people in the sandpit for a 2 week cooling off period? That would instantly get this website back on track.

If anybody wants to send me a personal message, I'll be happy to give you this ignore list so that you can enjoy DU the way it was intended to be.
