What would like to hear Hillary say today? Here's mine.
"Anyone that does not support the Democratic nominee, Barack Obama, is no longer one of my supporters"

4. I want to hear those three words, too. But even more importantly...
Edited on Sat Jun-07-08 08:25 AM by Diamonique
... she needs to address those voters who are using their support for Hillary as an excuse for voting against Obama.

Hillary has insinuated that the nomination was stolen from her because she's as woman. She's said outright that McCain is more qualified for the presidency than Obama. There are other things, too, that were started by her and her campaign. They lit the fire and fed the flames.

She must make a strong attempt -- in clear wording, not insinuation -- to put out those flames today.

ETA: Two words I *don't* want to hear from her today: "popular vote"

5. Sheesh, what an awful Web site.
Starring Harriet Christian, the woman all other women want to be. :scared: Jeez oh man.

I agree with what everyone else said. I want Hillary to come out with some strong verbiage saying "Look. You are not doing me, and you are not doing my party and what we believe in, and you are not doing OUR COUNTRY, any favors with this crap. Knock it off."

She can choose the words, but the message must be clear. The message must be that SHE wants the pro-Hillary, anti-Obama, pro-McCain movement to cease and desist. That she wants everyone who supports her to lay down the banner for her and remember what this election is about--not supporting a PERSON, but supporting a PLATFORM of values you believe in.

6. It was a hard fought campaign and I apologize for
my behavior and for injecting even a subtle racism into the campaign. By doing so, I appealed to that which is the worst of human nature. I ask the forgiveness of the American public and specifically I ask the forgiveness of Senator Obama.

Of course she's a Clinton, which like being a Bush, means never having to say I'm sorry.

7. It was MINE, I won the popular vote, and there's lots of time before
the convention!. And a lot of things can happen. To honor the 19,000,000 who voted for me, and only me, and not anyone else,( and it was for president, not a warm bucket of piss) the only thing I can do is to battle on! I was ineveitable. I am inevitable, and to all those Obama supporters who made a mistake, I am willing to forgive you if you pay down my 30 million debt.
