Yesterday, after reading the pledge by Howard Dean to not accept any lobbyist or PAC Money, I decided to double up on my contributions. Weekly, I'm going to start donating $20 to the DNC and $20 to the Obama campaign (separately). Who's with me?

1. Yep. I was contacted by the DNC last week.

Just remember the Clinton people cut off the DNC at the knees in the process of threatening Howard Dean, and the DNC needs an influx of cash for the general election.

2. Cleaning house.

Yeah, the Obama campaign and Howard Dean are cleaning house, and the "money bags" contributors aren't liking it one bit. If you're going to be the party of the people, act like it.

The Obama campaign alone has a base of over 1.5 million contributors. After donating to the DNC, I sent the link to all of my family members via e-mail and encouraged them to budget the DNC and the Obama campaign into their lives.
