The reality of a contest between Obama and McCain is unrelated to Hillary's campaign
How Hillary or Obama performed against each other is irrelevant. More relevant is how Gore and Kerry performed against Bush.

Before getting to the different voting blocs, it's worth a look at Gallup's rundown of how the Red vs. Blue states are sorting out. In states that President Bush won by more than 6 points, he leads Obama 52 percent to 39 percent. In states John Kerry won by similar margins, Obama leads 53 percent to 39 percent. In states where the margin was 5 points or less, Obama has a slim 47 percent to 44 percent edge.

The GE is about to kick into full gear.
  • How Hillary was treated is irrelevant.
  • How much Hillary is loved is irrelevant.
  • How great Hillary's supporters are is irrelevant.
  • After Hillary concedes tomorrow, the media will gush all over themselves for about a day.
  • Hillary will support Obama, but the contest is between Obama and McCain.
  • By Monday, the focus will be all GE: Obama vs. McCain.

1. Will this be the frame after Hillary concedes:
Obama Has to Make Sure Clinton Voters Do Not Leave With Her

Where are they going? The spin is simply incredible.

2. They're framing it that way but it won't last. Monday will be a whole new ballgame.
The numbers to hang onto that frame just won't hold. They are already irrelevant from what I've seen.

3. The way they're talking,
you'd think Hillary was going to be on the campaign trail as co-president. She lost, and will do what most primary losers do while the winner moves on to the next competition: fade into the background. In this case, as one of his surrogates.

6. dianne feinstein can tell george how "hilary won
the popular vote". Do you think he'll call her on it?

abc needs to be flooded with emails and calls if she tries to pull that crap again and I'm betting she can't wait for Sunday morning.

7. It was impossible for Hillary to continue after Obama won, and
it will be impossible for these arguments to continue after she concedes and endorses Obama. They'll try to keep it going, but they will sound ridiculous.

9. Yeah, it looks a little different today
with hilary giving her concession speech. Time will tell how this is going to pan out and what Obama and hilary talked about in that "hour" at feinstein's house.

8. I agree
and I hope most people have moved past that and will support our nominee. Clearly some on here haven't and are still continuing with the same stuff.
