As angry as I got with Hillary at times, I can say I did admire her general tenacity.

Like Howard Dean, we do need fighters in this party, and Hillary is a fighter. (And Obama will damn well need to be a tenacious fighter to beat MCBUSH. WE ALL will need to be fighters.) I totally agree that in this primary race she fought too dirty at times against her fellow Dem, but she is a fighter and never gave up. Notwithstanding, she objectively deserves credit for her strength and tenacity. I resolved a while back, as pissed as I got at her at times, I would have supported her had she won. So I give due credit, and have only best wishes and respect to offer the Hillary supporters, and I urge the two camps to now UNITE for the greater good of the country. Hillary has earned a large seat at the party table, and I'm confident her speech tomorrow will be honorable and unifying. She and Bill now have the gracious opportunity to get behind Obama and continue to campaign for the policies and causes they support, redeeming themselves in the process. I stand firm in my belief that Hillary as VP would not work well, BUT she would be great in the cabinet as Attorney General, Secretary of State, or Sec. of Health and Human Services to head up healthcare reform. So let's all be gracious now and UNITE TO KICK MCBUSH'S ASS AND THE REST OF THE R'S ASSES IN THE FALL. Thanks.

2. What has she fought for other than herself? She wrecked health care opportunity.

3. Yep--she singlehandedly wrecked health care reform.
The hundred of millions of dollars that the medical industry poured into defeating the plan had nothing to do with it. Nothing at all.

At least that's what my right wing friends and relatives have long insisted.

5. She lost it by her lack of good leadership. My way, or the highway.
Just like she's doing with punitive mandates.

4. I hate the "fight for" phrase - much abused by politicians not really fighting or risking anything.

6. Count the bruises on Bush that have HRCs name on them from the last 8 years.

7. sorry...she fights for herself and her own power only
on any issue that might be controversial, she'll seek the most expedient and less politically damaging option every time.

"Addicted to drama" Hillary wanted roll call so Chelsea could hear her name
Yes, there is an interesting life behind the scenes in the Democratic Party. One where they're on to Hillary and resent her desire to turn the entire institution into her private plaything, even in defeat:

Mrs Clinton is said to have told friends that she wants a roll-call of delegates at the Democratic convention in August so that her daughter, Chelsea, can hear it. One party strategist yesterday voiced suspicions that her real motive was that she was “addicted to drama”.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_amer...

Someone in her own camp was more than happy to confirm the roll call idea was a complete dud:

"Clinton also alarmed top supporters when she floated the idea of seeking a roll call vote at the convention "for Chelsea's sake" - a comment that was "met with intense pushback," a Clinton source said."

We need fighters like Dean and Gore who are interested in our People and our Democracy..not themselves.
