The first thing I want Obama to do as president
Start immediate investigations of the criminal activities of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Karl Rove, and the Rest Of Them.

I want them all tried and convicted of war crimes, of outing a CIA agent, of spying on American citizens without a warrant, and of massive fraud and theft.

I want this even before pulling troops out of Iraq.

1. He could save lives by pulling out of Iraq first.

2. I believe he did say he would be looking at everything and dumping everything that wasn't
Constitutional. That's a good start! That's what happens when you elect people who have actually read the Constitution!

3. No, no, no, NO!
You want a big show trial (certain to be a time-consuming, partisan circus) BEFORE our exhausted troops come home to their families? That's poor strategy on so many levels--and it's also not fair to the soldiers.

4. I agree, but I wonder if it's a wise move politically, especially if he just took office.

5. it's good to want stuff
;)

I'm pretty sure Obama is going to be far less aggressive about going after the criminals from the Bush administration than some people think.

6. Is there any example in history of a successful retrospective presidency?
I doubt Obama will want to get mired in the past, but will change everything for the future.

History will drive the nail in the Bush administration's coffin.

8. George W. Bush: The Movie
I agree that the criminals should have to pay for their mistakes. But we have much more pressing needs to address about ourselves.
