Some of them keep talking about "We HAVE to shadow the candidate 24/7--that's how it's always been done." For his own good, or something? What part of "They wanted PRIVACY" don't these people understand?

Punk the press one time too many, and they'll punk you back within an inch of your life!

29. Right..that's another thing I want changed
in these coming years.. "The US mediawhores" who gave us bushites and the War ON Iraq. Obama's not going to be bowing to their craven needs.

It's not like when bush was selected twice which can be traced straight up to corporate mind control.

21. They deserved it
They've been pestering them incessantly nonstop sometimes, often with very unfair assertions.

22. They *love* to be abused
Seriously, the Bushies never gave them *any* access and screwed them constantly. They're masochists, and only respect those who hurt them.

3. Obama is the "Change Agent" here. He is not going to do too much of "thats the way its been done"
These guys should get this through their skull. They were behaving like spoilt brats in a chocolate store. Good to keep them on their toes!!

7. Here's what they really don't understand...

Almost everyone -- democrats, republicans, anarchists, whatever -- loved watching them get left in the dust like that.

Listening to them whine about it only makes it that much more sweet.

No, there will not be a media backlash against Obama. These were just whiny reporters who just realized they were about to go through a news cycle with no story.

Tomorrow, they'll be back on his heels, squabbling like seagulls for breadcrumbs, each trying to be his favorite.

14. Screw them
They haven't been journalist in years. If they were journalist the Iraq war lie would have been covered before it became unpopular.

24. I have actually. I'm talking about the way he's basically hounded once he shows up. IT's like
there's no chance for a braether at any moment. And I think these meetings might be seriously private meetings that couldn't wait and it was the mistake of this guy that he allowed them to jump on the plane.

27. Don't be silly....

The first thing they would have done is hop in their cars and try to find them. I don't think you doubt that.

It's true that Obama probably won't do the same thing again. There's no point in trying to make enemies of the media.

But I haven't heard anyone comment on how this once again demonstrates how smart he is:

What better way to get off to a good meeting with Hillary, who is very upset with the press, than talking to her about a bunch of confused reporters being hijacked to Illinois?

30. It's nice to see those pigs get embarrassed. They have been tough on him with all the
Wright, Ayers, crap day in and day out. Misled? They are the ones chasing after him. I can't see any problem with giving the paparazzi a hard time once in awhile.

seemed odd to me that they claim a right to be on the plane with candidates.

18. He'll make it up to them and more. He's charming and nice.
Even has those Secret Service guys eating out of his hand and I can tell you from personal experience, senses of humor are NOT what they're known for.

Obama will most likely organize an event just for the press on that plane, just like he did for some of the SS guys who were with him from the beginning.

They've fooled the American public for far too long, why should Obama and Clinton given them the time of day in regards to this?
