Since he implied he'll surprise us and all.

Bruce Springsteen.

Positives: disassociate "Born in the USA" from Reagan.

Negatives: he'd have to give up bandanas.

7. Here are some outside of the box recommendations:
1. Danny Elfman. He refuses to reunite Oingo Boingo and all he's done for the last 15 years is orchestrate film music. How many possible VP candidates can say they scored a Tim Burton film? That's street cred, people. He's a bonafied Bushhater (father AND son), too.

2. Ron Jeremy. Seriously, who wouldn't vote for an Obama/Hedgehog ticket? I think porn is an untapped resource in politics; it's one of the most successful industries in the world. And because of this, he's truly been vetted in all aspects of life. He also has a masters degree in psychology.

3. Henry Rollins. Obama - cool, calm, collective. Rollins - angry, pissed off, articulate. Both have written multiple books and have gone on tours across this country. A Rollins VP choice would literally scare Republicans into voting blue or staying home in November.

4. Ryan Seacrest. Hear me out. He's obnoxious, annoying, and basically a no talent hack... But he's a no talent hack with MILLIONS of viewers and listeners. His teeth's is shiny and you could bounce a quarter off his hair into outerspace. The new face of politics!

5. Minnie Driver. She's just hot.

17. Ron Jeremy was over the top? I didn't see that one.
Remember when some people said that because of Tipper, anyone who loved Rock and Roll should vote against Al Gore? This would be just the opposite for people who want to keep the Internet free and uncensored.

23. bobby knight
last guy to go undefeated in NCAA basketball. Tough on defense. Matches up well with McCain in the swearing department (good successor to Cheney in that regard).

Plus, he and Obama probably could take any other two world leaders in a game of two-on-two.
