8. It depends on how you look at it.

From the viewpoint of an ordinary American, everything the GOP touches does indeed turn to crap.

But if you're wealthy, own a corporation, depend on military contracts, etc., the GOP is your best friend.

The problem is we just need to make sure more ordinary Americans understand that what's good for corporate America is likely not going to benefit them in any way. In fact, it will very likely harm them at some point.
