McCain Is The Type Of Candidate You Throw Out There When You Know You're Not Going To Win
Like Bob Dole, Walter Mondale, Adalai Stevenson, ect.

They're party elders (McCain was the longest-serving GOP member to run this year) and want to get their one shot in the spotlight before they ride off into the sunset.

He has no shot to win. We know it. They know it. That's why he's up there.

If he were a pro wrestler, he's be a jobber.

The GOP will concede this election, regroup and try to run somebody better in a few years. They knew it would be a tough year for them, the only thing they had to hold their hat on was possibly Hillary running so they could fire up their base, but Obama threw water all over that hope with his win.

Now they're stuck with a guy they don't care for all that much, in an election year where their party is radioactive, running against the most electrifying candidate to seek the presidency in 50 years.

Yeah, it's going to suck to be them this year.

5. That's about the size of it. They won't be spending any money on it either.
Also, McCain has promised & re-emphasized a nice guy campaign it's probably a done deal already.

7. Dole 2.0, but we still have to be on our guard for the 527's and voter fraud.
