Obama pays HIllary a House Call
WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton met late Thursday with Barack Obama, a day after saying she would end her quest for the Democratic nomination and endorse the Illinois senator.

A senior Obama campaign official confirmed that Obama delayed his departure from Washington Thursday night to meet with Clinton at her home here.

Earlier, Clinton had disavowed efforts by some supporters who have urged Obama to choose her as his running mate...

1. They're playing HORSE in the driveway.
The Clintons don't have a chance, even 2-on-1.

6. No "deal" is possible by law - she's giving him her doners, he may ask folks to attend her
debt reduction events, but that is not a big deal in terms of the process and how fast the debt will be retired.

8. If she's really got 18 million "supporters" then why is her debt such a big deal?
Edited on Thu Jun-05-08 09:09 PM by TahitiNut
After all, how can BOTH be true? Obviously, just $2 from each 'supporter' would be more than enogh.

If she can't get them to do THAT, then just how much credence do they have? Hmmm?

12. fwiw, *this* Hillary voter already donated $50 to Obama. I wonder how many
other people who voted for her have also already moved on.

9. There are many ways he can help her retire it
without giving her funds. He is a large draw at fundraisers and he has an extensive fundraising network that can be put to use.

11. I have to ask

the Clintons have a personal fortune over a 100 million dollars. why the heck can't they pay their own damn bills? where is it written that the winner is obligated to help pay off the loser's debts? has this sort of thing ever occurred in electoral history?

it seems very strange business to say the least.
