1. Don't do it

Obama says no PACs. He knows liberals and progressives are behind him. Donate to MoveOn and let them continue to take on the GoP, but don't donate to Obama via MoveOn.

2. That doesn't include earmarked donations.

Donating through MoveOn is like donating through Act Blue.

They're PACs, but it's earmarked from an individual. It's not earmarked by the PAC.

I donated to Obama through MoveOn, and it went through and appeared in the FEC report.

I don't mind some method of having my donation "marked" as "SCREAMIN LEFT-WING LIBERAL" but I don't want to violate any rules or in any way undermine the spirit of the campaign.

We've unilaterally agreed to shut lobbyists out of the process, and are we're relying on people just like you. 5. MoveOn is just passing the donation on.

The Obama campaign accepts donations passed on by MoveOn.

It's not like when a bunch of people give money to a PAC without earmarking it to a candidate, and the PAC writes a check to a candidate.

7. The DNC has NOT shut lobbyists out of the process completely

Just for Obama's run are they shut out. Congress, Senate and other seats are going to
continue to get their money from PACs or K street.
