Dont take the bait.
Edited on Wed Jun-04-08 02:46 PM by iamthebandfanman
Dont let bitter hillary supporters bait you with their 'obama supporters are so mean' threads. these are just people who want to cause trouble. they know darn well by insulting people, and then claiming those very people actually bully them, will make people mad and make you react. just dont even give them the pleasure.

both sides on DU have probably said things they wished they hadnt... so stop pointing the blame at each other!

4. I haven't said anything I wish I hadn't
In fact I'm sorry I didn't say a few more things. Or say them a bit more skillfully than I did.

And I don't give a rats ass about what any hillary supporter says. She's irrelevant now.

7. And this thread is helpful in that regard, how exactly?
Flame bait threads rarely do what they claim to rally against.

Why don't you take Obama's lead and leave Hillary and her supporters alone? Following his lead shows respect for all concerned.

8. Until Hillary formally concedes the primary and bows out
Edited on Wed Jun-04-08 03:41 PM by formercia
anything she or her followers say is fair game in my book.

I'm not looking for a job, running for public office or in any way connected to the Obama campaign, so I can say anything I damn well please.

Hillary isn't gone, she's just licking her wounds and conjuring up some new scheme to steal the nomination.

9. It's insulting to Obama to continue a fight he's already claimed victory over!
Jesus! It doesn't get any more simple than that.

How fucking embarrassing...

10. It's Hillary who is continuing the fight.
Obama can disavow what I say if he wants. If he says knock it off, I will, but until that time, the battle continues.

This is not Viet Nam where you take a hill during the day and the enemy takes it back at night.

This battle isn't over until Hillary surrenders unconditionally.

11. The battle was over when Obama claimed victory
Anything less is an insult. We need to show some respect.

12. The problem is Hillary hasn't conceded.
Hillary has been claiming victory for months.

It's not official until she formally concedes.

Until that time, it's business as usual.

13. Who do you believe? Hillary or Obama?
It's official when MY candidate claims victory. I refuse to insult him by continuing a fight he's already claimed victory over.

14. Good for you
and be embarrassed if you choose to do so. As for me, the fight isn't over until the battlefield is cleared.

When that's done, it's off to engage McLame and his cohorts.

15. Then you have no faith in Obama's claim of victory...
And you don't see that as an insult to him?

16. No.
I did watch him in an interview this evening on NBC and he asked his supporters to "sit back and take it all in."

I took that as a request to back off and let things take their course. I accept that an will do so.

I'll be ready to jump back in the fray if the occasion demands it. Until then... zzzzz
