4. Somehow...
...I don't think they are going to highlight McCain's service as a way to emphasize Bush's service. He'll more likely talk about his confidence in chimpy to export war and terror to the four corners of the globe.

Edited on Mon Aug-16-04 08:45 PM by Dudley_DUright
Zell Miller is a product of the Appalachian Mountains. Born in the small town of Young Harris, Governor Miller has been a businessman, teacher, marine sergeant, and author of four books.

10. Tommy Franks
He seems to be a good man and well-spoken. I respect his opinion. Zell Miller is a f'ing joke. Why does he even pretend to call himself a Democrat? This guys about as conservative as Trent Lott.

13. I had no idea he was an independent until recently
Edited on Mon Aug-16-04 09:53 PM by devrc243
I thought he was a Bushbot until I heard him say he "absolutely thought Kerry would make a good President." He said this election wasn't about thowing medals over a fence or AWOL, but what the future issues hold at hand. He said he isn't ready to campaign for Bush either.

That was a shocker for me.

14. I guess someone should tell "the party of Lincoln" that their ...
convention is as white as a KKK rally. Not much diversity in that speakers lineup except for Rod Paige who calls teachers terrorists and who f__cked up Houston's schools with a bunch of bull_hit fake data and statistics. Rod Paige is a dickhead. That is from me--NC Teacher!!!!! FURP!!!!

15. Will Alan Keyes be speaking?
Colin Powell won't be showing up for the Convention so the Republicans need to find another black person now, he might fit.

19. I don't know
John O'Neill is a possibility? George Elliot, perhaps? His complete lack of credibility fits well with Bush.
