Make no mistake about it, though, her leverage is evaporating by the minute. The polls show Obama's lead increasing over McCain without Clinton on the ticket. Apparently many Clinton supporters have far more wisdom than Lanny Davis.

Did anybody else see Lanny trying to speak on that topic (HRC as Veep) on CNN last night while the stage was being dismantled by roadies? The noise and the views of Hillary's stage being dismantled was funny.
