I told you about my 69 y/o mother, well she is having major surgery today BUT. . .

. . .she calls me first thing this morning and asks "what in the hell is Hillary doing? How come she is holding on and how come she won't acknowledge its over."

I love her so much, she is having major surgery on her neck and her back in about 3 hours and she is wrapped up in the election.

I'm confident she will be fine, she has impressed me so much through her recent medical challenges. I guarantee you she will be pissed if Hillary has still not given up by the time she comes out of surgery.

I missed that original post about your Mom. I'm sorry. Seems like too much of the "good stuff" has gone by the wayside in recent months. Hopefully, now, we can all get back to a place where we can find the time for our better nature to come out and play again. Sounds like even at 69 your Mom is still kicking butt and taking names later. I have observed much of that same thing in her son, and reading that story helps me understand a little better why--and how--you came to be who you are.

Actually she seemed visibly stressed over it. She had heard so many different stories yesterday that she was begging me to sort it out for her, being the poli-junkie in the family. I felt like saying,"Welcome to my world ma", this is why I'm on pills.

Your mom sounds like a SWEETHEART! I love the story about how she takes every e-mail seriously and asked you whether it'd be okay to stop judging the videos that MoveOn asked her to. I just want to give her a big :hug:.
