Can we stop tearing each others throats out now?

We have MANY wonderful, smart and compassionate people on this board that support candidates they choose for whatever reason. We now pretty much have our nominee, and it's time to be gracious in both victory AND defeat.

Instead of picking apart what your candidates competitor states, look to yourselves. By saying 'Well but SHE said this..and then HE said that!" you're not taking responsibility for what's coming from your own keyboard.

Politics is ugly, it's tiring and it sickens sometimes. It's been a long exhaustive season, too long. It's time for us to buck up now and concentrate on the best way to make sure McCain never sets foot in that Office unless it's to deliver a "Congratulations" fruit basket to BHO.

:grouphug: to DU and remember :yourock:

1. We haven't even STARTED yet. This is Seven Day Hate, the reason we all emptied our Ignore lists
of Hillaryis44.com and HillaryClintonForum.com denizens.

4. I lurked for a while but was never as dedicated to checking the site-
as I am now.

This "Seven day" thing, is it like a free pass venting? Should I just not come in here till Wednesday of next week or something?

Frankly I don't understand it.

2. I suggest those smart and compassionate people move to regular GD or the lounge because...
some people are too busy melting down for the next week.

5. Hell, no, it ain't settled yet!!!
If HRC isn't the VP candidate, I'm voting for Ralph Nader.

Wait ... I meant ...

If HRC IS the VP candidate, I'm voting for Ron Paul.

Wait ... that isn't exactly right either ...

OK, I'm confused.

But I'm mad as hell and don't want to be a second class citizen.

:hi:
