The Three Rules.

Usually for Living, but I'll use them for the rest of the election cycle, too:

1 - Don't be stupid.

We don't have to be brilliant, or profound, just don't be stupid. Consistently not-stupid is a pretty successful way to get along.

2 - Shit happens.

Even if we're consistently not-stupid, sometimes we screw up. That's OK, shit happens. Brush it off.

3 - Always bring beer.

Because if we're not being stupid we can use it to celebrate, and when shit happens it's a source of consolation, and somebody else always brings salad.
