They were talking about the positions that Hillary Clinton may be negotiating for, in addition to VP. " And strangely enough...positions for Bill Clinton. I even talked to one person who is very well connected who says that the idea of Bill Clinton as OBAMA'S CAMPAIGN CHAIRMAN" is being floated"

Howard Fineman has come up with a few things tonight that no one else who also claims "close connections"agrees with. I heard just the opposite, that BC would be going back to work at his foundation so as to stay out of the way. These people are just guessing and some of these may be suppositions "leaked" for purposes only the leakers may find useful. I'd like to keep score on some of these news people, a fact-check. See who falls for the crap and reports it dutifully. Or just makes it up.

Just the prospect of it is so nightmarish and...ridiculous, I had to comment on it! I don't know who to believe anymore. Howard Fineman said that she doesn't want VP, but wants to be asked in a public way and turn it down (which is what Obama wants), while Andrea said that she definitely wants it. Howard Fineman also said last month that he was told that Elizabeth Edwards might be campaigning for Hillary in NC, so I don't know how much stock to put in him (though I trust him more than Andrea). Hell, I don't really trust any of them.

did seem to be selling not only Hillary, but Bill. When asked about what Bill's position would be if Hillary was a VP, the surrogates aren't really saying "Hillary can handle it, Bill won't cause any trouble" or anything, they seem to be saying that Bill and Hillary are a package political deal. Did anyone get that impression today?
