The Party needs Unity- She set the stage for this tonight.

If you listened to her speech it was ALL right there.

2. My thought exactly.
For Pete's sake, they need to TALK first.

People in here are petulant and needing to satiate their egos with a premature concession speech.

5. Yes...that's exactly what she's doing.
The political neophytes don't see that, though.

I've seen her called "fucking bitch" numerous times in the past ten minutes on DU, just because she didn't do what they thought she should do.

She's following a traditional path that other defeated nominees have followed...no need for the uproar that's happening on DU.

16. We will see Grantcart
You are to biased to see that speech for what it was.

Obama may well ask her to be VP.

Regardless, if you listened to the tone and tense of her speech it was clearly the lead up to a concession speech.

8. They're also calling her a narcissist for having the audacity to follow through on her campaign...

even before Obama garnered enough delegates to become the presumptive nominee.

Between the lines, their message is: This woman needs to sit down, shut up, and let me have my way!

13. I hope you are right
It was a speach that set her square in the middle between stay and go.

I went to her website and let her know my thoughts in the provided form. My thoughts are that it is time for her to concede and help us take down McCain. I stated it politely but firmly. It is time to move on to the GE. I encourage others to do so. Be polite, be firm, and let her know what you want of her. She asked for it, lets give it. Maybe she will listen.

20. that is my thought also. It was obvious what she was saying tonight.
except she didn't say the final words, instead not making decision tonight. She gave a very nice speech and I really thought she was going to throw her support to Obama. Hopefully in the next couple days.

I think, I HOPE they do a presser togther in the next couple days.
