9. She discussed it on a recorded phone call today - she knew it would get to the media.
It was a very ungracious move on her part.

12. Yes, she is.
And she has a point: this country is in a big mess, and there's more than enough work for two people (P and VP). Not saying it should be Clinton as VP; just saying it was a good point.

11. LOL - Tubbs just said there'd be enough work for Obama, Hillary and THE PRESIDENT (Bill).. that
it'd take all THREE of them to fix Bush's mess. Unfreakinbelievable.

GREAT way to "get back" at all those Obama supporters she's going
to hold a grudge against ...

7. Today is not about Hillary Clinton, period.
Today is about the Democratic Party, and the election will be about the American people.

Obama is simply the catalyst.

and fuck the talking heads.

And what a historical night this is. She's simply lacks the class to be president.

13. It is really a shame that so much attention is being diverted from Obama's
incredible, historic achievement tonight, by discussions of what Hillary will or will not do.

And I'm sure she's enjoying every fraught second of it.

We, however, should not let the joy be diminished.

Tonight, our country will have an extremely intelligent, calm, focused and diligent American
as our Democratic nominee.

Hoooooraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!
GOBAMA!

28. Someone who has NPD - ALWAYS has to 'win' and be the CENTER of attention.
Sorry to say I'm referring to Hillary and her last-minute machinations to steal the spotlight from Obama - if that's what she's doing here.

Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 06:16 PM by ErinBerin84
stephanie tubbs jones was just asked about a Hillary as VP and how she would be able to accept a lesser position and not essentially a co-presidency, and she said "Well, George Bush left the country a mess, it might TAKE two people!"
Haha....Rachel said "This isn't a three person chess game, it's anarchist soccer!"

God, why in the hell does David Gregory ALWAYS ask Pat the questions first and let him go on and on, while the Democrats never get to comment on the freaking democratic primary.

That seems to be the talking point put out by the Clinton camp this evening with pushing her to be the VP.

26. Well...
...it is. Seriously, would her merits as a candidate for VP be worse if she let Obama have the day?

Hey, want to prove you might DESERVE and be APPROPRIATE for the VP spot, now would be a good time for a demonstration, otherwise the message becomes crystal clear, "Pick me, and I will do everything in my power to upstage you, undermine you, and lord knows what else, in the election, and in the administration."
