Whether or not Obama can unite the party without putting Clinton on the ticket is up in the air. But you can bet that the talking heads will be going on nonstop about how he definitely needs to put her on the ticket to unify the party and if they repeat it enough times, it may become reality.

1. Uniting the party isn't the only concern, here --
we ALSO have to attract crossover voters. It's not just Dems voting in November.

4. The corporate media has supported the corporatist DLC
and it's been a mutual relationship. FUCK what they think.

5. I'm sure
that we will see the same even-handed response from Obama that we've gotten used to: the dude's not going to be pressured into anything.

Senator Clinton should go back to the senate, where she can do the most good for the American people. She still has a great career ahead of her, and may be a much better candidate in 4 or 8 years.

10. Yeah. I can't pretend to understand everything he has to consider...
...but he can't ignore her popularity, even if he ultimately picks a different veep.

11. M$M thrives on conflict.
Conflict is sensational and attracts viewers, which raises ratings, which attracts sponsors, which drives up advertising rates, which makes the corporate bosses very rich and powerful.

With an Obama/Clinton ticket the M$M will continue pitting them against each other and creating divisions and distractions FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS OR MORE! Obama gets the ball rolling on something and the M$M will start running an endless loop praising Bill and Hillary for something/anything, following them around with the cameras instead of Obama.

I can hear Wolf Blitzer 18 months from now: "Who is really running the government? Barack or Bill?"

Republicans will eat it up.
