IMHO - she will suspend her campaign tonight - she just doesn't
want the voters in Montana and South Dakota to think she had given up so she can get their votes for that all important "popular vote" milestone she and her campaign like to focus on.

All who have said she was conceding/suspending her campaign, all the reports are correct - she just doesn't want the folks in the last 2 states to change their minds and vote for Obama because she is out of the race.

2. I agree...
...and it's pissing her off that the media is doing this--and not allowing her
to exit on her own terms.

I do think the media needs to tone it down a notch.

She's experiencing a crisis and a huge loss. We don't need the media reporting
all of this stuff about it being over--before they've heard it from her.

She should be given some room to exit, without the media speculating about what
IS going to happen.

That will just make her feel more out of control and like a caged animal. That's
when the antics start.

3. A caged animal? Oh please don't give us that shit.
Personally I think the woman is completely off her rocker. She has KNOWN FOR MONTHS she wasn't going to win. Why the hell should we kiss her butt and treat her like a baby?

12. Because sometimes...
...you have to coddle the imbalanced, to get what you want.

We need to treat her like a lunatic with a hand grenade.

Yes, i know you want to scream at her and tell her to get the frick out.

However, lunatics with hand grenades take that as an opportunity to
create chaos.

We just need to back away slowly, speak softly and let her do her
thing until she's ready to exit.

Say it with me now..."Yes Hilly...all is well . We're
all friends here....that's right. Friends. No one is going to
make you exit the race...everything is just lovely. Nothing
to be...upset...about...lovely primary we're having...."

Then she'll collapse in a heap, admit that it's over--and then
someone can tackle her to the ground!

4. She's the one who told us she never quits
If the media wants to point out to her that she is quitting, she really doesn't have much room to complain.

5. She's had plenty of chances for a graceful exit.
The lights have been dimmed, the music's off and the hosts are yawning. She's practically forcing the party to push her out the door.

13. The worst part is that all of that IS...
...happening--and she's dancing with a lampshade on her head.

She'll come down off the coffee table when the remix version of
"Shock the Monkey" is over and she realizes that she's the only
one in the room.

9. well, I sort of agree with you
She had the chance to exit gracefully and she has passed it by - the media is going ape shit because her campaign folks keep giving mixed messages, who can blame them. They have jobs to do to and their editors/producers have to reassign them if she is done. I can't imagine it being fun these last few weeks, it probably has been very emotional.

The mess that is today is par for the course of her campaign, it just puts that huge exclamation point at the end of her efforts - she doesn't know how to control the message or her people, especially the likes of Bill.

It is sad for her but it is best for the nation, she couldn't run a campaign right, how could she run the nation properly?

10. She won't concede, she will suspend her campaign.
IMHO, she wants to be there in case "that really awful thing that could happen, might happen" happens to Obama.

especially after Saturday.

That's all he said, tomorrow. Sounds like she will have a Potemkin victory party tonight first.

11. Hell, the way she has been slaming 'em back
and the way BC has been losing his cool, I'd love to be at that party with camera in hand - you never know what Kodak moments will happen.

:hi:

oh, and the Potemkin reference is perfect, you know, that thing about taking a village and all that

15. I'm hoping that she's had her day(s) in the sun in Puerto Rico,
and I hope that she will do what she needs to do to help get the presumptive nominee elected. Dragging this out with no closure for her supporters isn't gonna help very much, IMHO.

But, what the hell do I know.
