On Hillary's saying she'd "consider" being Obama's VP....
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 02:53 PM by poli speak
I think that's comedic, but in the tragic sense, and people should know that vendors engage in these type of opera-like play-actings all the time.

Hillary and her husband and her surrogates have all been negative, dirty and nasty towards Obama all along, treating him like he is a dog, trying to marginalize their competition in any way they can think of.

Anyone in government or knows someone in government, local on up, hears the stories of implicit threats from certain types of people trying to get deals all the time:

garbage collection companies, who send in their "tough guys" with "tough" words and "tough"body guards;"

attempts by questionable contractors and developers to circumvent government administrators by "taking their case to the public" (because they know an experienced administrator might have their vitae on hand, whereas pandering councilpeople probably do not);

the legion of berating phone calls instigated by malcontent vendors and businesspeople, to local legislators and council members who have no authority in municipal contracts to help exact a losing proposition to said community, but who might actually "pressure" somone who knows what their talking about into conceding to illogical and possibly illegal acts, not in the best interest of the greater community;

and certain irreputable general contractors, who bring in really horrible development proposals to a council or county setting, hoping to beat the poor slobs into accepting something "not so horrible" after months of boring or otherwise pathological presentations;

and, the final example that I can think of, shameless, so-called non-profit housing firms (purportedly offering 'affordable" housing), "promising" to take their blueprints elsewhere, if they can't get a deal, when they are a scam to begin with.

Hillary can take her ball and bat home and to hell with her for all I care.

I held out so long in hopes I could vote for her, and she and her hired thugs gave me every reason not to.

3. No. He's not required to offer or even consider her if he doesn't want.
And contrary to what some people think... It's not Hillary Hating to say she has no right to it. Her campaign has run center right and counter to everything he is running on. Putting her on the ticket is bringing not only a clusterbombing, war voter on - but more of the same.

Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 02:52 PM by tularetom
And turn her down after she begs.

10. Oh please gawd no.
Her days of setting the MSM's agenda are just about over.

I would love for her to return to the Senate and get back to work.

11. Isn't this Obama's choice, not Hillary's???
I just heard this a little while ago on CNN and wondered who the hell does she think she is. Does she think she is doing Obama any favors by considering to be his VP? I also heard one of the pundits yesterday saying that Al Gore had a major problem with Hillary when he was VP. Wish I had paid closer attention to what was said.

16. Bad move if he takes her on.
Too much Clinton fatigue out there. It would be an albatross for him.

18. Not to mention having to get worried about getting stabbed in the back
every turn he took.

She can't be trusted. She lies. Her surrogates lie. Her husband lies. For her, like she once did for him, as it turns out.

She would undermine him to pave the way for herself. If he was impeached and removed, she would take over.
