MSM: "Will Hillary admit she's lost if Obama wins?"
That's the storyline being pushed by all media outlets. How absurd is this? I don't remember people asking Huckabee to acknowledge McCain as the winner before showing him as the official presumptive nominee. Call me old-fashioned (and I'm only in my late 20's), but I think that the main storyline should be about the winner winning, not if the loser accepts losing.

1. They need something to talk about
speculate about, complain about. They have hours to kill before tonight and so all they can do is fill the time with mindless speculation.

2. God, I love Andrea Mitchell :-)
On MSNBC just now. She was interviewing Geoff Garin (Hillary's campaign strategist) and she interrupts him mid-sentence to bring him *Breaking News* that Obama just picked up 3 more superdelegates.

3. This has always been the problem with her campaign
And is now the problem with her losing the nom. It's all about HER! HER winning, or HER losing, HER campaign. How many times do you hear Obama say "MY campaign", "MY winning", "MY candidacy"? He always speaks in the plural. Is it him and Michelle? Him and his team? Him and the American People he is referring to? We don't know. But when he speaks to us, we have the feeling of being included in his hopes and plans. Not so with Hillary. Her egocentric campaign was doomed by the collective Clinton ego, as is illustrated here by Chelsea's unfortunate campaign poster design.

Reminiscent of:

And:

We always had the feeling of being just a fly on the wall watching an ambitious woman attempt to reach the pinnacle of her own personal success. We never thought for a minute she was fighting for US. Her fight, the Clinton's fight, was THEIR fight, for them alone.
