If your reason is purely pragmatic for the sake of getting the support of her constituency, I believe there are too many negatives that would offset this benefit. Remember, she is an extremely divisive national figure and Obama could lose a lot of votes from Independents and Republicans who are genuinely inspired by his message of unity and change.
