We are losing the anti-terror issue.
You've heard it and cringed. "Terrorists can't be reasoned with. You can't be 'sensitive' with terrorists. Terrorists must be destroyed." The terrorism issue has been framed. The Bushies are doing the intelligent thing (for them) and taking cool-headed thinking out of the terrorism question. They are distorting and mocking Kerry's widely praised, sensible approach to handling terrorism. What are Dems doing to answer?

Terrorism thrives on Bushism. Terrorists are laughing as Americans are stampeded from one alert to the next. They are laughing at the way they got us to knock out Saddam and destabilize Iraq. Instability creation, you see, is the essence of terrorism. Terrorists witness the instability Bush has brought to everything he has touched, and they smile. Terrorist witness Bush and Cheney goading the American people into fits of self-destructive anger and fear, and they smile.

Of course, the GOP is laughing too -- laughing at Dems. Bush, Cheney, and other failure-drenched neocons watch with their collective breath held as Bush's lame tough-on-terror ruse gulls frightened voters. The GOP laughs as Dick Cheney's cheap, slanty-mouthed tough talk distracts and deliberately discourages people from thinking.

It is about time the Dems started laughing too! Bush's claim to success at fighting terrorism should be openly mocked. Yes, the truth is on our side, but we need emotion too. Sober, angry attacks on Bush's fake position are not enough. We need to attack on the GOP's emotional flank. That is where they don't expect Dems to attack. (How well they know us.)

Laughter is the only way to break Bush's emotional claim on people's "inner fools." Healthy laughter at the mess this posing cheerleader boy has made can wake people up.

When people finally think about the terrorism issue carefully, Bush is toast. Bush and Cheney will do everything in their power to keep that from happening.

Islamic population of the world due to utter cluelessness and insensitivity regarding their culture and beliefs will not incite a thousand Bin Ladins. Sure just wait till the kiddie sodomy issue breaks. . .still waiting. This heinous idiocy and cruelty is intolerable.

Just saw an NGO report estimating 37,000 Iraqi casualties. (sorry no link) Of course they were all insurgents. . .right.
