That's more than were for Obama, and more than there were unaffiliated. So since there were only 8 votes against Michigan's pledged delegates given 1/2 a vote, it seems that at least 5 were willing to concede this was the best idea.

And before that, ALL of them were in favor of giving Florida 1/2 a vote.

Not exactly a united front behind Ickes' threat to take it to the convention. Now Obama needs 60 delegates to win, not 40--but Hillary's count still can't come close to that. Earth to Clinton, your own PEOPLE have signaled the end of the race is near.

1. Not all of them are pot banger-types. Many actually care about the rules.

6. I liked Alice Hoffman by the end. Her smackdown of the crowd was particularly good.
And she seemed to me like a Hillary supporter who genuinely believed in party unity.

12. They voted by raising and counting hands.
I'm sure the breakdown will be on the news or on the net soon.

7. Michigan was messier than Florida
There were two motions for Florida, 1 for 100% voting and 1 for 50%. The 100% motion failed 12-16, and the 50% motion passed 27-0. You could say the 50% motion was unanimous for Florida, but in fact 12 preferred full seating. The reason Michigan was not unanimous had nothing to do with the 50% reduction, that would have gotten unanimous support too, it was giving Obama uncommitted votes. They wanted 50% reduction but with no votes for Obama.

11. Ok, so at least FIVE out of 13 of her supporters agreed to it...
...more than a third of them. What is she going to do, throw THEM under the bus, too?
