Kerry should be in Florida RIGHT NOW!
because you know Rove will have Bush pop up there pretty soon to survey the damage and make a campaign pitch out of it!

1. NO, not wise
It would only create problems, we don't need Jeb in our face either. Photo ops at this time are just wrong. People have died , are homeless and under so much stress. Believe me this is not a good time!

3. No, Kerry stay out....
little bush already announced he'll be in Florida soon. I guess he'll be preying on innocent citizens who are in total shock.

I don't think Kerry should be there looking as if he's using those people who are in pain and shock. Little bush will be there, but don't forget, it will be a photo op organized and people will be selected to appear with him. Kerry and Edwards can just walk in and mix with people without exclusion.

Well... alrighty then....

While he is there..... perhaps he can explain why, since his bro is gubner there.... for TWO (2) terms.... the building codes aren't enforced... why the firehouses were anhiliated.... the shelter came apart.... the hospital gave it up... AND there weren't sufficient shelters for the majority of the people to go to!!!! 600 911 calls per minute at one point, can you imagine THAT SORT OF TERROR? Perhaps Clinton didn't do enough... he must figure in there somewhere.

Perhaps he can explain how many shelters for AMERICANS that 200 billion piss poorly spent dollars could have built HERE WHERE THEY ARE NEEDED.

Perhaps he can explain why this country's infrastructure is coming apart at the seams and he yet feels the need to pour hundreds of billions of dollars into foreign ill thought out misadventures.

I think it is time for Congress, (as corrupt as it may be) to do its job and change the misleadership in this country by force if necessary. And if they can't do that... they need to resign... all of them.

10. It would look very opportunistic.
And besides, flights are probably limited and roads probably have limited access while they do cleanup.

11. Needs to PUBLICALLY express SUPPORT but NOT GO!!!
And he needs to explain WHY he's not going - that his presence would cause more hassle than help at this point.

But he needs to say something.

DEFINITELY not go though...imagine the security hassles for people who have just lost everything.

Of course, Bush will be there in a few days to pose with Jeb and he'll POUR funds in quicker than any time in history for a disaster.

But let's not say it's because it's an election year. :eyes:
