Wow. Bill Nelson is so macho.
Did he ever dsplay any of that passionate anger about Iraq or the selection in 2000 that happened IN HIS STATE? Just wondering.

1. Where was all the outrage at the initial sanctions?
Where was he then?

14. He was in favor of the Iraq war, strongly. Last night I watched the "Body of War"
interview of Phil Donahue by Bill Moyers. There are video clips in that movie showing the various senators and representatives making their case for or against the Iraq war.

Sen. Bill Nelson was shown with a quote something like "Every day that goes on Saddam is more and more...." while he was justifying his "Yes" vote on the war. Speaking in front of the Senate like that should have been something embarassing to him, but he obviously relished getting in line with all the right-wing Republicans.

The video clips show one senator after another quoting almost exactly the same rhetoric, but most of them were Republicans. An then there was our "Democratic" senator, Bill Nelson.

Enough to make one sick at the misuse of the label "Democrat".

7. Bill Nelson
is in the right wing of the Democratic party. I voted for him, but his opponent was Bill McCollough "the persnickety." He's not as bad as Lieberman, but doesn't hold a candle to the more liberal Democrats.

9. No! He is DLC and that's the bottom line. I never saw him or the Clintons during Selection 2000
It's like the Clintons are exploiting the emotions expressed by blacks who were disenfranchised in 2000 to their own advantage. It is so disgusting and making me very ill as a black woman and should bother everyone.

13. He has the looks, the haircut, the speech patterns and the accent
of a fucking TV evangical preacher.

To me he's a prime candidate for being caught with a dead girl or a live boy.

Or a sheep. Douchebag.
