Rendell on being Obama's VP: "I wear a flag pin, so [it would] be a balanced ticket"

Joke or not. What a bastard. I've never liked this snake oil selling piece of shit.

Not angling for Veep

Ed Rendell was never in contention for the number two slot because of his tendency to say whatever he happens to be thinking, and now...even less so.

From CNN:

Rendell again called for an Obama-Clinton ticket – assuming both candidates were in favor of the idea. The former Democratic National Committee chairman also laughed that he would make a great vice presidential pick for Obama: "I wear a flag pin, so be a balanced ticket," he joked.

Maybe that's why he's "BITTER".

12. I think about that video of Rendell praising Farakahn
every time I hear the establishment types pushing him for veep.

I may spend too much time at my computer reading political blogs, but an awful lot of pundits spend too little.

I mean, we know about this, so why don't they?

17. I Rarely Disagree With You, But...
I don't think the joke was at Obama's expense. It was a poke at the M$M & repugs IMHO. He's still (half-heartedly) promoting Hillary but he's smart and he knows that ship has sailed. He will be a strong advocate for Obama when the time comes, warts and all.

Statlet: Hey...hey Ed I figured out your style.

Milton Berle: Really

Statler: Yeah. You work like Greogory Peck.

He has zero interest in being Obama's VP, so he can say whatever he wants to say. He also said that we will end up with Obama as the nominee, but that he is the lesser candidate.

say nothing about Ed and the Clintons' public praise and honor of Louis Farrakhan in the late '90s. Nobody ever talks about that.
