I do

in the last three days I've asked four people if they're registered to vote, gotten into two arguments, sorta, had two demurrals, and had SEVERAL talks with people who cannot STAND the junta, including a librarian today

we joked about TIA, cameras/mics being all over the library

Please

Do this every DAY, especially if you're in a schwing state

Just find an excuse to bring it up

1. I always wear a Kerry button, or a t-shirt
and I see dozens of folks every day at my store. I don't bring it up unless they do - because it isn't nice to harass the customers. I get a lot of comments, either giving support or "tell me why you would vote for John Kerry". I'm getting better every time at answering the question. Does wonders to curing social anxiety disorder, BTW.

2. for me it's the reverse
Every day I talk to bush haters who want to bum a cigarette. The quandary: do I oblige out of political camaraderie, or am I giving lung cancer to democrats?

3. I am absolutely shocked at the people who do not want to discuss
politics. It amazes me. Maybe I need a life. Or they have a secret Prozac stash somewhere.

4. ive had mixed reactions
i wear a kerry/edwards button on my hat at all times; once, a guy commented on it, and when we started talking, it turned out that he had been 6 feet to my left at the Zanesville, OH, Kerry rally...on the other hand, i also had some girl try to actually rip it off my hat. but in general, its positive
