If Hilary indeed has more "Popular" votes, they're supplied by Republicans, they're proud of that?

So Operation Chaos worked somewhat, are they Proud of that? Since it was Republican votes that "put her over the top in Popular Votes" shouldn't she be running as McCain's Veep? She may have employed these slimy tactics to bring in those Reagan "Democrats" votes, but I say they are Reagan REPUBLICANS and have Always been..

Now that's Popular... Like a great stew where someone's tossed a turd into it, might be able to fish it out, but no one who Knows it was ever IN there is going to eat it..

One other point, the is not a High School Prom, its a national Election with Rules to create Order, and those Rules are Not there to be changed by the Candidates..

Really very simple.. :)

1. I remember Obama being proud of appealing to Rethugs and Indies.
Even said/threatened to have some in his cabinet. So it's only a bad thing if you think Hillary thinks that way?

16. Care to rethink that bit of rubbish?
All those Rethugs who voted for him in the caucuses will be the ones voting for McCain. He just doesn't have the national support he thinks he has. He is going to lose the GE when those Indies and Rethugs go home. When are you folks going to wise up? Oh, I know...after McCain is president or after he appoints some conservative SCJ. You gotta love it there in fairy land!

6. They plan to vote for him in the general.
This is substantiated by exit polling.

7. Here's the difference..
Edited on Tue May-27-08 05:47 PM by SoCalDem
Republicans who voted for him , did it because they LIKED him and loathed McCain & Bush..His republican support has remained constant during the whole process..hers SPIKED after Rush sent out the trolls..

Republicans who voted for HER, did so to MUCK with the election process, keep her IN the race and force Obama to waste money...and to deny him an outright "win"...and if they "won", they could bash the hell out of her in the fall..see the difference :(

if she had not had their support, she would have REALLY lost Texas..and Ohio & maybe even PA..and Indiana definitely..
She would not have had big numbers in WV or KY, and would have probably dropped out in early March.. she would have had no "reason" to continue..

8. Is that wishful thinking on your part?
I remember hearing early on that Rethugs were changing parties just for the election so they could hurt Hillary...then changing back again. But, if you like the view with your head in the sand...keep it there.

10. No, many did it as a way to manipulate the results. This isn't debatable.

2. every poll I've seen on the subject
shows Obama got more crossover votes than Hillary did, something like 60-40.

I remember many Obama fans touting this as a reason to vote for Obama - he was going to get Republicans to vote for him in the GE.

11. Glad to see you and I have the same recollections.
Obama people only believe what they WANT to believe whether or not they have anything to do with reality. Talk about fairy land!

5. In reality even with Rush's help, she is still losing the popular vote.
She counts states where Obama was not on the ticket and she excludes caucus states.
So her saying she is winning the popular vote is an all out lie.

9. The early primaries, particularly, Republicans voted for Obama.
44% of the self-identified Republicans who voted in the Democratic Iowa caucus voted for Obama, compared to 10% for Clinton.

This was consistent with other early primaries.

Of course, nothing will stop her.
