you overestimate her value. She's more like that slippery booger in the back of your nostril you can't... quite... reach.

8. The trouble with providing the links ...
"You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin," Obama said. "Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest.

"Instead," he said, "I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism."

So you knew the context and yet you persisted in propagating the smear. What does that make you?

Edit to add- This is like all those people who said that the Wright statements were out of context, in context they were even worse.

5. Reminder that when Conservatives complain about the media being too Liberal...

... they are complaining about the media being too unbiased.

90+% of the American media reporting during the Vietnam War was pro-US government. Yet, that is when the "media is too Liberal" meme became part of the American consciousness. Because an awful lot of folk believed, still believe, that media outlets based in the United States should be 100% pro-American in a time of (perpetual) war instead of reporting the truth.

Once "media is too Liberal" became accepted as common wisdom, it morphed into "media has a Liberal bias". Since the Conservatives originally brought up Liberal media as a synonym for unbiased media, this morphing literally translates into, "the media has an unbiased bias".

Just typically, stupid Conservativism.

15. When the nation is in mourning, you're supposed to wear your lapel pins on you hip.
You can also literally wear it at "half-staff", but good luck walking around all day at half staff with a pin stuck in it.
